Speaking - The Copywriter Club

media & Speaking

We should talk.
No really. Let us talk at your event.

Kira Hug and Rob Marsh are currently available to speak on stages around the world. Separately. Or handcuffed together.

If you need someone (or two someones) to speak to your group about copywriting, branding, marketing strategy, or growing an online community—have your people call our people.

Who are we kidding? We don’t have people.

Complete the form below and we’ll get back to you ASAP.

Some things we like to talk about:

  • How to create sales pages that grab your best customers by the collar and make them happy to click the buy button.
  • The powerful effects of story—it’s like cocaine in your brain. Seriously. We have the science that says so.
  • How to make your messaging and copy more effective.
  • How to embrace your weird and stand out in a crowded elbow-to-bony-elbow marketplace.
  • Freelancing: choosing a niche, building a personal brand platform, and getting yourself in front of clients.
  • How to build an engaged community online (of 7,000+ members) in less than 12 months.
  • The persuasion tactics used by cult leaders, con men, and grifters to hook customers and get them to buy.

Got another idea? We can work with you to create something unique for your event.

For interviews, speaking engagements, or to inquire about coaching and copy feedback, all you’ve got to do is complete the form below.

And if you just want to send us cool loot, our address is on the Contact Page.

OFFICIAL BIOS

Rob Marsh and Kira Hug are copywriters, co-founders of The Copywriter Club and co-hosts of the incredibly popular (at least among discerning copywriters) podcast of the same name.

Rob Marsh

Rob is an expert marketer, writer, and entrepreneur. He has worked as a Copywriter, Producer and Creative Director at various companies including FranklinCovey, Publicis, and Hewlett Packard. So he has “big company” and “agency” experience.

In 2004, he joined a startup that revolutionized the online production of design (the predecessor to companies like UpWork and 99Designs). In 2012, he started his own SaaS business. So he understands small biz too.

Today he consults with a variety of technology and wellness companies to create effective landing pages, conversion funnels, and marketing campaigns at Brandstory Copy and Content. He is the author of the book, Telling Your Brand Story (available at Amazon, hint, hint). He lives in Salt Lake City with his wife, four kids, and a neurotic Westie.

kira hug

Kira is a conversion copywriter who specializes in personality-driven launch copy. She also helps small business owners package their ‘weird’ following her signature Weird Trifecta Framework™.

In a previous life, Kira was an art major (yep) and ended up working with global brands like Estee Lauder Companies. She also led the marketing team for startups like ActionableBooks.com and global health nonprofits (what up, glaucoma and breastfeeding).

Today, Kira refers to herself as a Copy Chef (she dresses the part!), and she leads a team of multiple copywriters in a flex micro-agency focused on personality-driven sales copy for course, membership and program launches.

When K-Dawg’s not in Type-A, NYC workaholic mode, she’s running at Prospect Park, watching her fave movie for the zillionth time (I will find you, Last of the Mohicans!) or attempting to play the violin with her daughter (it’s their new thing, don’t judge).

Kira currently lives in Brooklyn with her partner, 2 kids and pet snail (RIP Sally).
